[Lapack] CLAPACK INSTALLATION - xlintsts hangs up while doing tests

Hi Stefanie,
I am not surprised, this may happen on some platform with some
particular BLAS library.
The LAPACK testing, thus the CLAPACK testing, are very very though
test, torture test as we called them.
They may fail but that does not necessary mean that the library is not
correctly installed.
Try to link with the Reference BLAS, the one included in the package,
if this works, your CLAPACK library should be fine.
Let me know if you need anything else
Sincerely
Julie

Hi,

I'm trying to install CLAPACK on Cygwin on my PC (Intel(R) Core(TM)2

My gcc-version is 3.4.4.

I already did the following steps:

make f2clib
make cblaswrap
cd SRC; make
cd TESTING/MATGEN; make
cd TESTING/EIG; make
cd TESTING/LIN; make

Everything worked fine and finished without error.

But when doing

cd TESTING
make

the installation hangs-up after the first two lines:

C:\CLAPACK\TESTING>make
Testing REAL LAPACK linear equation rout
./xlintsts < stest.in > stest.out 2>&1

When typing Ctrl-C I get

make: *** Deleting file `stest.out'
make: *** [stest.out] Error 1

Does anyone know what could have gone wrong? :?:

Thanks a lot!

Stefanie
