Dear Samir,
Did you try a "ls".
Also LAPACK is a library and not an executable. You have to link your program
to the library.

Dear Lapack user/developers,
I am installing lapack.3.3.1 in my laptop with gfortran.....I set the
variables in the make.inc to the appropriate one........all the programs are
compiled but at the end I did not get the lapack_LINUX.a library:
x86_64: ../lapack_LINUX.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [../lapack_LINUX.a] Error 1
I don't see any reason for that.
Many thanks,
Samir
