[Lapack] Matrix inversion in Lapack - which algorithm used?

Dear Jim,

Thank you for your answer, I am however not sure to understand.

I indeed just want to know which mathematical algorithm was implemented for
the inversion of a matrix in LAPACK.

Regards,

Xavier

As a matter of fact I am comparing various approaches to invert a matrix
in R, and the standard solve() function is an interface to the LAPACK
corresponding functions.

 Thanks in advance,
