LAPACK-VS-Example linking question

Postby panovr » Wed Dec 21, 2011 9:51 am

Hi,
in the LAPACK documation, that said:
Add the the BLAS and LAPACK libraries to the Visual Studio project settings,
under Linker -> General -> Additional Library Directories: the directory where your liblapack.lib is.
under Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies: libblas.lib;liblapack.lib

Should the
Linker -> General -> Additional Library Directories
be
Visual C++ Directories -> Lib Directories
?

I just wonder what is the difference between these two directories?

Libraries are needed at linking time. This is why, I put them in the Linker section.
Never tried Visual C++ Directories -> Lib Directories, but it look like a pointer to all the libs, so adding them here should probably work.

Just a quick update, you can now call directly C form your C VS Solution.
