Is there a plan to formalize out-of-core ScaLapack?

I have been using the prototype out-of-core scalapack for a while. It's useful for large problem. Unfortunately, the library contains limited functionalities and has been in prototype mode for years. I just like to see out-of-core scalapack formally becomes a part of scalapack library.

Notice that POOCLAPACK (the OOC version of PLAPACK) has many out-of-core capabilities, including Cholesky factorization, QR factorization, update of a QR factorization, and inversion of a SPD matrix.

If interested, I can make introductions.
