How to programmatically get version information

Postby Frank_I » Tue May 16, 2006 9:11 am

Hi all,

I am quite new to LAPACK and I am currently stumbling a litte about
how to programmatically get the (or any) version information.

Backgound is that I shall write some version information about the used
libraries at runtime, so I need to get the LAPACK version used.
Some string like "CLAPACK version 3.0, September 20, 2000" would
be an example.

Is there any way on doing this?

Thank you for your help.
