"MAKE Test" after CMAKE doesnt work

Postby kalinfirst » Sun Jun 26, 2016 12:45 pm

Trying to install LAPACK 3.6.1 under Windows 10, by using CMAKE 3.6.0 rc3. I was following the instructions as published in YouTube "How to build LAPACK with CMAKE", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6U5bDOwOK0c
- Extracted the tgz file in a "C:\Users\Kalin\Documents\LAPACK\lapack-3.6.1" folder
- Created a folder "C:\Users\Kalin\Documents\LAPACK\lapack-3.6.1 - Build"
- Pointed these folders in Cmake
- Pressed Configure
- Specified "Eclipse CDT4 - MinGW makefiles". Actually It was the default one. I have installed Eclipse Neon before that
- "Use default native compilers" (left the default check)
- Received error messge from Cmake - "Error in conf. process ..."
- Pressed Configure again
- Seems finished OK. I have the red screen with some things checked and some not. Made no changes on it.
- Pressed Generate
- By using Command Prompt went in to the source folder (where the content of the initial unziped file appeared)
- Changed make.inc.example to make.inc, without any changes in it
- pressed "make". A lot of
"gfortran -o2 -frecursive -c $$$$$.f -o $$$$$.o"
commands has happened. "$$$$" is name of subroutine.
- finished with this:
ranlib ../../libtmglib.a
make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/Users/Kalin/Documents/LAPACK/lapack-3.6.1/TESTING/MATGEN'
( cd BLAS/TESTING; make -f Makeblat1 )
make[1]: Entering directory `/c/Users/Kalin/Documents/LAPACK/lapack-3.6.1/BLAS/TESTING'
gfortran -O2 -frecursive -c sblat1.f -o sblat1.o
gfortran sblat1.o \
../../librefblas.a -o ../xblat1s
gfortran.exe: error: ../../librefblas.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [../xblat1s] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/Users/Kalin/Documents/LAPACK/lapack-3.6.1/BLAS/TESTING'
make: *** [blas_testing] Error 2

- After entering (as advised in the video) “make test”
- I’ve got this
C:\Users\Kalin\Documents\LAPACK\lapack-3.6.1>make test
make: *** No rule to make target `test'. Stop.

- After that when I started a project within Eclipse neon with a sample LApack program from here:
- “make all” went normally according to the Eclipse Console view. Binary was produced.
- Then after compiling nothing happened – no file was created, no messages in the Console
- After second compilation a lot of errors like
undefined reference to `xerbla_'
- No binary was produced
- I have C:\MinGW\bin, C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\bin, C:\Program Files\CMake\bin in my PATH
I miss something but I don’t know what.

Thank you
