my gosh, I think it's working right now. I was able to compile, now I have to check it numerically,
thank you very much.
I will consider in the next few days to change the version.

As a way of feedback, why this worked (cudart)?

Hi, I have been unable to recompile magma-1.2.1 from the original installation I had. Everything started with the automatic shutdown of the workstation. Once reinitiated, someone installed cuda 5.5.
