Better documentation available?

Postby arnijohnsen » Mon Jul 01, 2013 11:22 am

Hello all,

I've been looking into using Magma in some computationally intensive work.
While most of the examples provided with Magma are fairly easy to use and read, I must say it lacks a good documentation, especially compared to similar libraries such as CUBLAS (which I've also been experimenting with).

The online documentation ( http://icl.cs.utk.edu/magma/docs/ ) is two releases behind the current beta and on top of that it's not very helpful, especially if you're not really sure what you are looking for (looking up specific functions is, at least for some functions, pretty decent though).

So my question is, is there another documentation I'm missing or are there plans to bring out a more detailed and easy-to-use documentation?

Regards,
Árni
