magma_dgeqp3_gpu CUDA runtime error in 1.4.0-beta2

Postby bravegag » Wed Jul 24, 2013 11:04 am

Hello,

I have MAGMA 1.4.0-beta2 and a GPU (Titan GTX) with capability 3.5 and CUDA/CUBLAS 5.0. I'm also compiling with defines:
-DADD_ -DHAVE_CUBLAS -DMAGMA_WITH_MKL -DMAGMA_SETAFFINITY -DGPUSHMEM=300

I run tests in my project using magma_dgeqp3_gpu and everything works fine. However, when I run my algorithm using real data I get the following error output printed many times:

Code: Select all
CUDA runtime error: invalid argument (11) in magma_dlaqps2_gpu at dlaqps2_gpu.cu:282
-- recompute dnorms --

Despite this error output, funnily the computation results are correct. Any hints on what the problem could be? why are these messages printed?
