Variable length arrays in 1.4 beta 2

Postby tkacvins » Tue Jul 02, 2013 10:25 am

Hi,

A while ago I had reported an issue building MAGMA on Windows where using variable length arrays are not supported by the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ compiler. I was told that this issue would be addressed for 1.4, but I have run into the issue with 1.4 beta 2. Will this be fixed for the final release?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks. This was an oversight. We corrected the previous instances, but a couple new ones got introduced. Those will be corrected. Detecting them requires using some compiler flags that we don't normally use, but I can add that to our pre-release checks.
