About libcoreblasqw.a in version 2.6.0

Postby jgpallero » Sat Dec 21, 2013 10:28 am

Hello,

I've installed the 2.6.0 version and I've noted that a new library called libcoreblasqw.a was added to the lib/ folder. Also I've noted that its inclusion in the linking step is mandatory. What are the differences between libcoreblas.a and libcoreblasqw.a?

Hello,

As said in the release notes the library including all sequential kernels (libcoreblas) has been made fully independent of PLASMA. The libcoreblasqw are the Quark Wrapper to those kernels that are used in the implementation of the algorithms using dynamic scheduler Quark.
