Compiling with 64-bit integers

We are interested in using PLASMA for very large dense matrices (where NxN > 2^32, but still small enough to fit in memory of a 256GB RAM system).

Has anybody successfully compiled PLASMA on a Linux amd64 platform using 64-bit integers (i.e. -fdefault-integer-8)?

Hi,

we never tried to compile PLASMA in such a configuration. But if you want to do so, you need to do the same for all the dependencies: blas. lapack, cblas and lapacke.
