Variable length arrays in 1.4 beta 2

Hi, A while ago I had reported an issue building MAGMA on Windows where using variable length arrays are not supported by the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ compiler. I was told that this issue would be addressed for 1.4, but I have run into the issue with 1.4 beta 2. Will this be fixed for the final r...

If not, just instructions on how to build it would be great. MinGW would be fine, too, but I am worr...
